You all know how bad I am with sticking to TBRs but you also know how much I love making lists, so here we go.
Series To Start:
- The Amateurs by Sara Shepard
I want to read something by Sara Shepard. I have already mentioned this in a previous TTT; I loved The Lying Game TV show and I like Pretty Little Liars too so I think it’s time I delve into the books. I’ve chosen this one because it’s the most recent series, so I can catch up (I read book 1 in the PLL way too long ago but I thought it would be better to start with this).
- Caraval by Stephanie Garber
I have had my eye on this beauty for quite some time and I am extremely excited to read it. Plus, I won a copy over at twitter, so that was a sign to read it soon!
- A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab
You know I still haven’t read anything by V.E. Schwab. I added this book in my March TBR but I haven’t been able to read in a week so fingers crossed that changes soon and I can start this series already.
Series To Finish:
- The One by Kiera Cass
Adding this one here is a bit of cheating because there are two more books in the series, but this was the last one in the original trilogy, so sorry not sorry. This way the post looks nicer, having three books in each category. I decided to finish this series in 2017 because I never got around to reading those two extra books.
- Rebellion by Kass Morgan
With this section you’ll notice they’re all series I want to finish in 2017. This one in particular came late 2016 and I heard about it that same week, I thought I was already finished with the series, so this year I will actually finish it.
- The Winner’s Kiss by Marie Rutkoski
I don’t know why I didn’t read this last year; I read Winner’s Curse and Winner’s Crime almost together and I wanted to continue with this one. I guess I’m afraid about the ending?
Series To Continue:
- The Austere Academy by Lemony Snicket
This is no surprise, I think. I’ve been reading A Series of Unfortunate Events since the year started and I plan on continuing.
- The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stievater
I loved The Raven Boys but I’m so afraid of this one. It has nothing to do with the story or the writing or the characters, because I’m already attached. The problem is that I have tried reading this book twice but due to reading slumps I have had to put it down (the slump was not caused by this book) so I am actualy scared of picking it up again and another slump hitting.
- Unravel Me by ahereh Mafi
I reread Shatter Me late in 2016 so I could continue on with the series and here we are.
Have you read any of those books? Is your favourite in there? Do we have any of those TBR books in common?
