I love the Shatter Me series, even though I got into it late. Once I started it I was a bit sad I was not part of that hype and everything that came with it. However, I still love my reading experience and I was able to discuss the books with a friend, which made the experience so much better.
I was over the moon when I discovered about Restore Me, which will be released in March and even though I read Unravel Me and Ignite Me in 2017, I decided I had to read them again to prepare myself for Restore Me (or so I tell myself, in truth, I just want to read them again, okay?).
Why am I telling you all this?
As I mentioned, I was able to discuss the books with a friend of mine, which made me so much excited for the books. I am hoping that maybe some of you are also considering reading the series (either for the first time or as a reread), and my aim is to find you and have chats about the series (but also so you understand when those posts come up).
These books are very easy to read and I flew through them (even though I am such a slow and lazy reader). I will dedicate two weeks per book, starting in the middle of January and leading up to the release of Restore Me (which hopefully I am able to read as soon as it comes out). Apart from devouring the series again, I will be discussing them with other readers, writing reviews for them (I only did one for book 2) and basically just ranting about my love for the series. I believe that two weeks is an appropiate time frame to do that.
If anyone would like to join me, here is the reading schedule:
- Shatter Me: From January 15 to January 31st
- Unravel Me: From February 1st to February 14th
- Ignite Me: From February 15th to February 28th
- Restore Me: as soon as I get my hands on a copy
I will be posting updates on twitter using the hashtag #SMRaP.
This is not an official read-a-thon, just me letting you know what you can expect and praying someone wants to discuss those books with me!
I will be posting my reviews between those dates, and you might find other posts related to those books, like discussions, or fan casting (which will not last long since we’re getting a TV series!). Of course, I will have other non-SM posts too.
Have you read Shatter Me? Are you intereste in reading them again? What kind of posts would you like to see between those dates?
